TWIGS
Teens Working In God's Service
The TWIGS are 9th through 12th graders who meet weekly for fellowship, bible study and service to others.
Fellowship- The TWIGS gather for weekly meals, games, weekend retreats, campouts, movies, concerts and many other activities.
Service- The TWIGS are responsible for the maintenance of the food pantry housed at IHN. They also prepare and serve food for the events at Faith In Christ, including the Shrove Tuesday dinner and Easter breakfast. A weekend mission trip to southeast Ohio is planned every fall as well as the opportunity to share God’s word through participation in "The Living Word" drama in Cambridge, OH.
Christmas caroling to the congregation’s homebound is yet another way we serve.
Discipleship- TWIGS share the word of God by presenting DRAMAS at Faith In Christ during Sunday morning worship. Members of the TWIGS are also active in various ministries at FIC such as the Praise Team, Day Camp (counselors), TNT ministry team, Technical Crew, ushering, greeting and serving communion on Sunday mornings.
We welcome anyone in 9th through 12th grades to come and get involved in this FANTASTIC time together!
